So I made this wallet tonight. Some (my angry students tomorrow) would say that I should have graded their PreCal tests. I looked at my school bag... Anyway, I like it. If you decide to make one, you should put some boning above the clasp, because it closes a little weird. I love the fabric, though!

Mother's Day and Don Quixote

For Mother's Day, I took Crystal and my parents to the ballet of Don Quixote. It was performed by BalletAustin in the new Long Center here in Austin. The music and choreography/dancing was great. The Long Center is a really nice theatre which helped make the night enjoyable. My only complaint would be one of the costumes...One should never have to have a conversation with his mother about whether a dancer is wearing tights or body paint, I'm talking about you Basilio.
In my dad's words "you could put a dime there and be able to tell if its heads or tails."

Hoof and Mouth Disease
Just kidding. Crystal has Hand, Foot and Mouth Disease. It is basically a variation of chicken pox, but it only affects your hands, feet and the inside of your mouth.
We waited a little to long to take pictures, the sores are starting to heal and disappear.

Adventures in Babysitting
Yesterday Bryan and Nicole let us babysit Tyson for the first time. He was super cute and did a great job being without his mom. I even got him to play with an xbox controller!!!
Unfortunately he liked me way better than Crystal and it showed.
Picture of Crystal has been removed on threat of death and other unmentionable pains and tortures

Voting in America
So if you weren't aware there have been some controversies in America lately, most of which has made me scream and think most Americans were ignorant and stupid. But tonight a little bit of faith has been restored in America's ability to vote for the right person. I am happy to announce that Amanda Overmyer has been voted off of American Idol and that she did not make the top 10 so she will not be touring with the show.
Now I'm wondering if America will make the right decision again at the end of the year....
(as a side note I pretty much think Oprah is the devil)
